Abingdon Health’s PCRD nucleic acid lateral flow immunoassays (NALFIA) are for use alongside isothermal amplification techniques. Results are available in 10 minutes making them the perfect solution for rapid detection of nucleic acids for point of care testing in infectious disease applications, such as COVID-19.
State-of-the-art automation equipment allows for the manufacture of millions of test strips per month.
Straightforward nucleic acid testing in any location
PCRD NALFIA assays detect specific labelled amplicons following an amplification sequence. The tests allow the visualisation of amplified products and selected binding partners due to an aggregation of coloured particles at two test capture lines.
PCRD provides high sensitivity with simple qualitative results, and no reliance on large equipment, provides an easy nucleic acid detection solution, saving costs and time on training and deployment.

PCRD (Cassette) and PCRD FLEX (Dipstick) are Abingdon Health’s standard nucleic acid lateral flow immunoassays. The tests consist of 2 test lines and 1 control line, and will detect amplicons labelled with DIG/Biotin and/or FITC (or FAM)/Biotin.
These kits are ideal for research or trialling PCRD technology before ordering in large quantities or deciding on PCRD customisation.
